Manatee County fences & gates
Palmetto is right across the Manatee River from our Bradenton home base, a couple of minutes over the bridge. We build fences and gates for Palmetto homes from Riviera Dunes out to Snead Island and Terra Ceia.
Fencing in Palmetto
Palmetto runs from the north bank of the Manatee River out to Terra Ceia Bay, with Emerson Point Preserve at the tip of Snead Island. Waterfront and near-water homes here get steady salt air, and low-lying streets can hold water after summer storms.
Inland, older Palmetto neighborhoods have compact lots and chain link that's been up for decades. Replacing tired chain link with vinyl privacy or black vinyl-coated chain link is one of the most common upgrades on this side of the river.
What we build here
Vinyl privacy and semi-privacy for backyards near the river and bay, with no staining or painting.
Black vinyl-coated chain link when you want something cleaner than galvanized but still open and practical.
Ornamental aluminum on Snead Island and Terra Ceia waterfront lots, to keep the view open.
Wood privacy and shadowbox for older in-town lots where a classic look fits the street.
We build every material here. Also see custom gates.
Permits & approvals
Inside Palmetto city limits, fence permits go through the City of Palmetto. Snead Island, Terra Ceia and other unincorporated areas are permitted by Manatee County.

Most of Snead Island is unincorporated Manatee County, so fence permits there go through the county rather than the City of Palmetto. Check your parcel on the Manatee County property appraiser's site to be sure.
